A project born out of a love story with Granby
The atmosphere was festive on Wednesday afternoon at 348 Main Street, when the symbolic shovelful of dirt from the Le Miner project officially marked the start of work. On the iconic site of the former Chez Trudeau restaurant, a new chapter is being written for downtown Granby. This large-scale project, led by the developer Alexandre Choko in partnership with Agence SIX, represents much more than a simple real estate development: it is the expression of an authentic passion for this community in the Eastern Townships.

A shared vision for the future of downtown
True to its mission of supporting families to their future home, Agence SIX is working closely with the development team to make this project a success. The Miner, with its 10 floors and its 103 rental units, including a proportion of affordable housing, perfectly meets the current needs of the Granby community. The building will also offer two commercial spaces on the ground floor to revitalize Main Street.
A touching tribute to local heritage
What particularly sets Le Miner apart is his respect for the heritage of the Trudeau family, which fed Granbyans for nearly 90 years. The project includes spaces named in their honor: the “Madame Trudeau” lounge on the 10th floor, accessible to all tenants and offering a panoramic view, as well as the “Fernand Trudeau” terrace on the 4th floor. These tributes reflect the philosophy of Agence SIX: to create authentic links between people and their living environment.
